Over the past five years, EUROSENSE has built a serious technical capacity for carrying out photo flights and photogrammetry production in Bulgaria. In its 400 sq.m. office in Sofia, EUROSENSE has developed a fully integrated production chain for analogue and digital aerophoto images. The company is also registered as an Air operator, owns aircraft and equipment, delivers aerial photo services and develops maps and databases for Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
In 2005-2006 EUROSENSE photographed the entire Bulgaria from the air and developed the first digital colour orthophoto map of the country for the Ministry of Agriculture (in the frame of the Land Parcel Information System - LPIS). This orthophoto map was thus a necessary and essential step for the accession of Bulgaria to the EU.
