A course on GIS Panorama was held in Laboratory on Cartography, University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy. Teachers and PhD students participated. The course tutors were Yana Angelova and Angel Angelov from Geodetect Ltd.

Conference in Croatia

During the 25th International Cartographic Conference in Paris, France, Silviya Marinova, Ph.D Student, received a travel award for best report as a young scientist. The costs of her participation in the conference were covered by the International Cartographic Association (ICA).

Symposium in Orleans

А symposium on "Maps for the future: children, education and the Internet" was held in Orleans, France with Bulgarian participation. A book on this topic will be published by Springer next year.
